It’s the last weekend of summer and on Saturday I lead our weekly run at Quicksilver Almaden. The trail is hilly, challenging and breathtakingly beautiful. I may hate the first 10 minutes or so, but I am never sorry I went. My daughter Erin has a blog and she has inspired me to share the things in life that make me smile. I am not a great athlete, but a passionate one. My run was slow and easy and at the half way point (about 5 miles up) I took a stunning picture of the valley below. Low clouds, sun breaking through and I was grateful I was alive. I was also grateful the next 5 miles would be down hill!
